Horseshoe Bend Mustangs (Horseshoe Bend, ID) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Wilder Wildcats (Wilder, ID), 36-14 in a non-league match.
The Mustangs (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Idaho City (Idaho City, ID). The Wildcats come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Idaho City was beaten by Garden Valley (Garden Valley, ID), 20-14, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the Cascade Ramblers (Cascade, ID) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 5. Wilder will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
