Pennsylvania High School Football - Somerset overwhelmed by Huntingdon

August 29, 2025: Huntingdon, PA 16652

In Friday's league game, the Huntingdon Bearcats (Huntingdon, PA) football team triumphed over the visiting Somerset Eagles (Somerset, PA), by a tally of 48-12.

In their next game, the Bearcats face the Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils (Bellwood, PA) in a Laurel Highlands outing, on Friday, September 5. Huntingdon will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Blue Devils come into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 21-6 league loss to Bishop McCort (Johnstown, PA).

With the defeat, Somerset drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Greater Johnstown (Johnstown, PA) to clash with the Trojans in a Laurel Highlands outing on Friday, September 5. The Trojans come into the outing with a record of 0-2. Greater Johnstown lost 14-6 in their recent league outing against Central (Martinsburg, PA)
