Louisiana High School Football - Oak Forest Academy crushed by Jackson Academy

Jackson Academy Raiders (Jackson, MS) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football squad smash the host Oak Forest Academy Yellowjackets (Amite, LA), 42-6 in a non-league match.

The Raiders (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Leake Academy (Madden, MS). The Rebels come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Leake Academy routed Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS), 29-26, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Yellowjackets meet the Bowling Green Buccaneers (Franklinton, LA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 5. Oak Forest Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Buccaneers come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 35-16 non-league loss to Adams County Christian (Natchez, MS).
