The Oakdale Eagles football squad scored 46 points and limited the host Jellico Blue Devils to 19 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Oliver Springs for a 1A Region 2 test on Friday, September 5. Oakdale will face a Bobcats team coming off a 46-22 non-league loss to Roane County (Kingston, TN). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-1.

The Blue Devils (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Jackson County (McKee, KY). The Generals enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Jackson County fell by Knott County Central (Hindman, KY), 34-0, in a non-league challenge.
