The John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers football team (Birmingham, AL), dropped 49-28 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting St. Michael Catholic Cardinals (Fairhope, AL)

With the win, St. Michael Catholic advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cardinals host W.S. Neal (East Brewton, AL) to encounter the Eagles in a 4A Region 1 bout on Friday, September 5. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-0. W.S. Neal won 51-0 in their recent non-league bout against Excel (Excel, AL)

The Cavaliers now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carver Birmingham for a 5A Region 5 contest on Friday, September 5.
