    Joliet J Hawks (Joliet, MT) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Shelby Coyotes (Shelby, MT), 56-6 in a non-league battle.

    With the win, Joliet improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The J Hawks host Sweet Grass County (Big Timber, MT) to meet the Sheepherders in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Sheepherders come into the test with a record of 0-0.

    With the defeat, Shelby drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Roundup (Roundup, MT) to meet the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
