The Joseph Eagles football squad scored 46 points and limited the visiting Sherman Huskies to 13 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ione/Arlington for a 1A Special District 1 (6 Man) test on Friday, September 5. Joseph will face a Cardinals team coming off a 27-12 league win over Wallowa (Wallowa, OR). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-0.

The Huskies (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Jordan Valley (Jordan Valley, OR). The Mustangs go into the 1A Special District 1 (6 Man) challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Jordan Valley bounced Dayville/Monument/Long Creek (Dayville, OR), 14-13, in a league challenge.
