Illinois High School Football - Kankakee falls to Nazareth Academy

The Nazareth Academy Roadrunners ran past the host Kankakee Kays football squad by a margin of 33-12 in Friday's non-league test.

The Roadrunners now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Morgan Park for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Nazareth Academy will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 11-8 non-league loss to Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Kankakee drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Kays travel to Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL) to meet the Griffins in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Griffins come into the test with a record of 1-0. Lincoln-Way East won 40-0 in their recent non-league test against Maine South (Park Ridge, IL)
