    • Texas High School Football - University thwarted by Keller Central

    August 29, 2025: Keller, TX 76248

    Keller Central Chargers (Keller, TX) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting University Trojans (Waco, TX), 43-17 in a non-league match.

    The Chargers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Gophers come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Grand Prairie was beaten by Naaman Forest (Garland, TX), 36-21, in a non-league match.

    Coming up next, the Trojans confront the Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 5. University will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Pirates come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 30-6 non-league win over Waco (Waco, TX).
