The Letcher County Central Cougars walloped the visiting Leslie County Eagles football team by a score of 45-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars play the Perry County Central Commodores (Hazard, KY) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 12. Letcher County Central will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
With the defeat, Leslie County drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Powell County (Stanton, KY) to meet the Pirates in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 1-1. Powell County lost 57-7 in their recent non-league test against Breathitt County (Jackson, KY)
