The Lincoln Hornets (San Diego, CA) football were winner over the visiting Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits (Long Beach, CA), 36-20 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Hornets now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Arbor View for a non-league outing on Friday, September 5. Lincoln will clash with a Aggies squad coming off a 49-7 non-league loss to Millard South (Omaha, NE). The Aggies record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Long Beach Poly drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Jackrabbits host Tustin (Tustin, CA) to face the Tillers in a non-league game on Friday, September 5. The Tillers enter the game with a record of 2-0. Tustin won 44-0 in their recent non-league game against Foothill (Santa Ana, CA)
