Lindsay Knights (Lindsay, TX) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Nocona Indians (Nocona, TX), 69-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Lindsay improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Alvord (Alvord, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Alvord won 63-0 in their recent non-league battle against Valley View (Valley View, TX)

Coming up next, the Indians meet the Electra Tigers (Electra, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 5. Nocona will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 30-6 non-league loss to Santo (Santo, TX).
