The Rockets now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Coal City for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Richmond-Burton will meet a Coalers squad coming off a 40-14 non-league win over Pontiac (Pontiac, IL). The Coalers record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Marian Central Catholic drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host Clemente (Chicago, IL) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, September 5.
