Illinois High School Football - Oak Forest prevails Marmion

In Friday's non-league test, the host Oak Forest Bengals football squad scored a good 41-28 triumph over the Marmion Cadets.

The Bengals now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stagg for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Oak Forest will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 20-19 non-league loss to Romeoville (Romeoville, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Marmion drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cadets host North Lawndale (Chicago, IL) to meet the Phoenix in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Phoenix come into the test with a record of 0-1. North Lawndale lost 46-6 in their recent non-league test against Woodstock (Woodstock, IL)
