Pennsylvania High School Football - McKeesport overwhelmed by Peters Township

In Friday's non-league game, the Peters Township Indians (McMurray, PA) football squad trounced the host McKeesport Tigers (McKeesport, PA), by a margin of 35-0.

The Indians now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Lebanon for a non-league outing on Friday, September 5. Peters Township will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 26-18 non-league loss to Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, McKeesport drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Thomas Jefferson (Jefferson Hills, PA) to face the Jaguars in a non-league game on Friday, September 5. The Jaguars enter the game with a record of 2-0. Thomas Jefferson won 37-14 in their recent non-league game against Central Valley (Monaca, PA)
