Mississippi High School Football - McLaurin beaten by Salem

The Salem Wildcats football squad scored 36 points and limited the host McLaurin Tigers to 20 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Wilkinson County for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. Salem will play a Wildcats team coming off a 34-6 non-league loss to South Delta (Rolling Fork, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.

The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Puckett (Puckett, MS). The Wolves go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Puckett lost by Sebastopol (Sebastopol, MS), 37-16, in a non-league challenge.
