With the defeat, Washington drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Demons travel to Independence (Independence, IA) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 1-0. Independence won 47-14 in their recent non-league test against North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA)
