Indiana High School Football - Springs Valley triumphant over Mitchell

August 29, 2025: Mitchell, IN 47446

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Springs Valley Blackhawks (French Lick, IN) and the host Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN), witnessed Springs Valley's football squad wallop Mitchell by a tally of 70-6.

The Blackhawks (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Paoli (Paoli, IN). The Rams go into the Patoka Lake bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Paoli smashed Corydon Central (Corydon, IN), 17-7, in a non-league bout.

The Bluejackets now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host West Washington for a Patoka Lake contest on Friday, September 5. Mitchell will encounter a Senators team coming off a 28-7 non-league loss to Tell City (Tell City, IN). The Senators record now stands at 1-1.
