The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Moanalua Menehune (Honolulu, HI) and the visiting Nanakuli Golden Hawks (Waianae, HI), witnessed Moanalua's football squad knock off Nanakuli by a tally of 49-35.

The Menehune (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against 'Aiea ('Aiea, HI). The Na Alii enter the OIA I bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, 'Aiea dropped by Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA), 47-6, in a non-league bout.

The Golden Hawks now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Wai'anae for a OIA I bout on Friday, September 5. Nanakuli will encounter a Seariders team coming off a 43-8 league win over Radford (Honolulu, HI). The Seariders record now stands at 4-0.
