Iowa High School Football - Union sneaks past New Hampton

The Union Knights football squad scored 22 points and limited the host New Hampton Chickasaws to 19 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Tama County for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. Union will face a Trojans team coming off a 20-8 non-league win over Vinton-Shellsburg (Vinton, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-0.

The Chickasaws (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against West Marshall (State Center, IA). The Trojans enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, West Marshall was edged by South Hardin (Eldora, IA), 28-7, in a non-league challenge.
