The Norborne/Hardin-Central were winner over the visiting Sweet Springs Greyhounds football squad by a margin of 60-36 in Friday's non-league outing.

The now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Wellington-Napoleon for a Central Rivers (8 Man) outing on Friday, September 5. Norborne/Hardin-Central will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 66-22 league win over Slater (Slater, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Sweet Springs drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host North Shelby (Shelbyville, MO) to clash with the Raiders in a Central Rivers (8 Man) outing on Friday, September 5. The Raiders come into the outing with a record of 1-0. North Shelby won 50-24 in their recent non-league outing against Bishop LeBlond (St. Joseph, MO)
