The Noxapater Tigers football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Southeast Lauderdale Tigers to 0 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hamilton for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Noxapater will meet a Lions squad coming off a 36-20 non-league loss to Eupora (Eupora, MS). The Lions record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Southeast Lauderdale drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Enterprise (Enterprise, MS) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Enterprise lost 34-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Stringer (Stringer, MS)
