The Oak Lawn Spartans walloped the visiting Wheeling Wildcats football team by a score of 58-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans face the Thornridge Falcons (Dolton, IL) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 5. Oak Lawn will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Falcons enter the game with a 0-1 record after their 27-26 non-league loss to Joliet Central (Joliet, IL).
The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Hawks enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Hoffman Estates overwhelmed Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL), 55-14, in a non-league outing.
