The Palisades Pirates (Kintnersville, PA) football knocked off the host Saucon Valley Panthers (Hellertown, PA), 17-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Pirates now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Catasauqua for a Colonial-Schuylkill - B outing on Friday, September 5. Palisades will clash with a Rough Riders squad coming off a 34-7 league win over Wilson Area (Easton, PA). The Rough Riders record now stands at 2-0.

The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Palmerton (Palmerton, PA). The Blue Bombers enter the Colonial-Schuylkill - B game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Palmerton was toppled by Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA), 27-20, in a league game.
