The Rebels go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 17-12 non-league loss to Northeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS).

The Tornadoes (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Leake Central (Carthage, MS). The Gators go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Leake Central bounced Leake County (Walnut Grove, MS), 42-26, in a non-league challenge.
