The Redwood Valley Cardinals football squad scored 29 points and limited the visiting Pipestone Arrows to 14 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg for a Mid South - Teal test on Friday, September 5. Redwood Valley will clash with a Fighting Saints squad coming off a 46-8 league loss to Paynesville (Paynesville, MN). The Fighting Saints record now stands at 0-1.

The Arrows (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Windom (Windom, MN). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Windom ran past Martin County West (Sherburn, MN), 30-8, in a league game.
