The Platte Valley Broncos football team (Kersey, CO), was topped 34-7 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Strasburg Indians (Strasburg, CO)

With the win, Strasburg advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Indians host Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Montezuma-Cortez won 48-0 in their recent non-league contest against Crownpoint (Crownpoint, NM)

Coming up next, the Broncos confront the Buena Vista Demons (Buena Vista, CO) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 5. Platte Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Demons enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 50-7 non-league win over Salida (Salida, CO).
