In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Valor South Austin Falcons football squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Prairie Lea Indians.
The Falcons (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Founders Classical Academy (Leander, TX). The Archers go into the TAIAO Division 1 - South (6 Man) battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Founders Classical Academy nipped Concordia (Round Rock, TX), 62-0, in a non-league battle.
The Indians now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they host New Braunfels Thunder for a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. Prairie Lea will meet a Homeschool squad coming off a 46-0 league win over Coastal Christian HomeSchool (Corpus Christi, TX). The Homeschool record now stands at 1-0.
