In Friday's non-league game, the Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) football team knocked off the visiting Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL), by a margin of 28-18.

The Knights now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Palatine for a non-league outing on Friday, September 5. Prospect will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 39-22 non-league win over Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Stevenson drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Patriots host Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league outing on Friday, September 5.
