The Southwest Valley felled the visiting Red Oak Tigers football team by a score of 14-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the play the Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center (Guthrie Center, IA) in a A District 7 challenge, on Friday, September 5. Southwest Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 40-0 non-league win over Panorama (Panora, IA).
The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against AHSTW (Avoca, IA). The Vikings go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, AHSTW was dropped by Logan-Magnolia (Logan, IA), 12-6, in a non-league challenge.
