The Shady Spring Tigers football squad scored 40 points and limited the host St. Albans Red Dragons to 0 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Nicholas County for a Coalfield AA test on Friday, September 12.
The Red Dragons (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Nitro (Nitro, WV). The Wildcats go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Nitro bounced Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV), 52-14, in a non-league challenge.
