Alabama High School Football - Valley beat Smiths Station

August 29, 2025: Smiths, AL 36877

The Valley Rams football squad scored 37 points and limited the host Smiths Station Panthers to 21 in the Rams non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rams now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Central of Clay County for a 5A Region 4 test on Friday, September 5. Valley will face a Volunteers team coming off a 40-7 non-league loss to Benjamin Russell (Alexander City, AL). The Volunteers record now stands at 1-1.

The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Central (Phenix City, AL). The Red Devils enter the 7A Region 2 challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Central ran past The First Academy (Orlando, FL), 38-35, in a non-league challenge.
