With the defeat, Solon drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Comets host Shaker Heights (Shaker Heights, OH) to meet the Red Raiders in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Red Raiders come into the test with a record of 1-1. Shaker Heights won 14-0 in their recent non-league test against Brush (Lyndhurst, OH)
