Nebraska High School Football - Twin Loup can't hold off St. Mary's

August 29, 2025: O'Neill, NE 68763

St. Mary's Cardinals (O'Neill, NE) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Twin Loup Wolves (Sargent, NE), 18-13 in a non-league battle.

With the win, St. Mary's advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Burwell (Burwell, NE) to play the Longhorns in a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. The Longhorns go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Burwell won 47-12 in their recent non-league battle against Elgin/Pope John (Elgin, NE)

The Wolves now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Riverside for a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. Twin Loup will confront a Chargers squad coming off a 44-0 non-league loss to Central Valley (Greeley, NE). The Chargers record now stands at 0-1.
