The Steel Valley Ironmen were victorious over the host Washington Prexies football team by a score of 21-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Ironmen clash with the Bishop Canevin Crusaders (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, September 5. Steel Valley will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Crusaders come into the outing with a 0-1 record after their 22-7 non-league loss to Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA).
With the defeat, Washington drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Prexies travel to Waynesburg Central (Waynesburg, PA) to clash with the Raiders in a WPIAL AA Century outing on Friday, September 12. The Raiders come into the outing with a record of 1-1.
