    The T.R. Miller Tigers (Brewton, AL) football tipped the host Straughn Tigers (Andalusia, AL), 20-13 in Friday's non-league outing.

    The Tigers now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monroe County for a 3A Region 1 outing on Friday, September 5. T.R. Miller will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 24-6 non-league loss to Escambia County (Atmore, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.

    With the defeat, Straughn drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Daleville (Daleville, AL) to battle the Warhawks in a 4A Region 2 contest on Friday, September 5. The Warhawks enter the contest with a record of 1-0. Daleville won 40-8 in their recent non-league contest against Florala (Florala, AL)
