The West Craven Eagles (Vanceboro, NC) football knocked off the visiting Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC), 33-8 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Eagles now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host New Bern for a non-league bout on Friday, September 5. West Craven will encounter a Bears team coming off a 28-7 non-league win over Havelock (Havelock, NC). The Bears record now stands at 2-0.

The Tigers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Greene Central for a non-league bout on Friday, September 5. Wilson Prep will encounter a Rams team coming off a 60-0 non-league win over Goldsboro (Goldsboro, NC). The Rams record now stands at 2-0.
