The Chaparral Wolverines flag football team scored 26 points and restricted the visiting Grandview Wolves to 0 in the Wolverines non-league win on Friday.

In their next game, the Wolverines face the Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 30. Chaparral will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record.

The Wolves (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Rock Canyon (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Jaguars come into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Rock Canyon was defeated by Legend (Parker, CO), 15-14, in a league test.
