In Friday's non-league outing, the host Berlin Mountaineers soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Monadnock Huskies.
The Mountaineers (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Kennett (Conway, NH). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 0-0 record.
The Huskies now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Campbell for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. Monadnock will clash with a team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Bishop Brady (Concord, NH). The record now stands at 1-0.
