Indiana High School Soccer - Gibson Southern toppled by Highlands

Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the host Gibson Southern Titans (Fort Branch, IN), 5-0 in a non-league outing.
The Bluebirds (1-5) will now prepare for their outing against Center Grove (Greenwood, IN). The Trojans go into the non-league outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, Center Grove got by Bloomington North (Bloomington, IN), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Titans now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Evansville Mater Dei for a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. Gibson Southern will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Evansville Memorial (Evansville, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
