In Friday's non-league match, the host Atwater Falcons football squad scored a good 23-0 triumph over the Hughson Huskies.
The Falcons (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Gregori (Modesto, CA). The Jaguars come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Gregori went down by Merced (Merced, CA), 21-7, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Huskies play the Pitman Pride (Turlock, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Hughson will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Pride go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 21-6 non-league win over Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA).
