California High School Football - Mountain View loses to Palo Alto

August 29, 2025: Palo Alto, CA 94301

Palo Alto Vikings (Palo Alto, CA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Mountain View Spartans (Mountain View, CA), 23-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Palo Alto advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Vikings host Burlingame (Burlingame, CA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league match on Thursday, September 4. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 1-0. Burlingame won 27-21 in their recent non-league match against Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA)

Coming up next, the Spartans confront the Woodside Wildcats (Woodside, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 5. Mountain View will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 36-0 non-league win over Westmont (Campbell, CA).
