California High School Football - Sheldon crushed by River City

August 29, 2025: West Sacramento, CA 95691

The River City Raiders walloped the visiting Sheldon Huskies football team by a score of 45-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders play the Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack (Elk Grove, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. River City will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Wolfpack go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 21-6 non-league loss to Pitman (Turlock, CA).

The Huskies (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Wood (Vacaville, CA). The Wildcats go into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Wood was ripped by American Canyon (American Canyon, CA), 14-8, in a non-league challenge.
