The San Mateo Bearcats topped the visiting Summit Shasta Black Bears volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Bearcats face the Westmoor Rams (Daly City, CA) in a game, on Thursday, September 11. San Mateo will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record.

With the loss, Summit Shasta drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Black bears travel to El Camino (South San Francisco, CA) to play the Colts in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. The Colts come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
