In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting Rock Island Rocks soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Champaign Central Maroons.
The Rocks (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL). The Boilermakers go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Bradley-Bourbonnais by Normal West (Normal, IL), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Maroons confront the Unity Christian Academy Phoenix (South Holland, IL) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, August 30. Champaign Central will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
