Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Conestoga Pioneers (Berwyn, PA) and the visiting Great Valley Patriots (Malvern, PA), saw Conestoga's soccer squad triumph over Great Valley by a count of 6-0.

The Pioneers (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Strath Haven (Wallingford, PA). The Panthers enter the Central battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Strath Haven tipped Coatesville (Coatesville, PA), 5-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Patriots battle the Bishop Shanahan Eagles (Downingtown, PA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 4. Great Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Shipley (Bryn Mawr, PA).
