Lansingburgh Knights (Troy, NY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Fort Ann Cardinals (Fort Ann, NY), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Lansingburgh moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Knights travel to La Salle Institute (Troy, NY) to confront the Cadets in a Colonial Council outing on Tuesday, September 2. The Cadets go into the outing with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Cardinals confront the Hudson Falls Tigers (Hudson Falls, NY) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, September 3. Fort Ann will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
