Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Sikeston Bulldogs (Sikeston, MO), 5-2 in a non-league test.

The Marshals (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Murray (Murray, KY). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 7-0 record. In their last outing, Murray got by Calloway County (Murray, KY), 3-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Carbondale Terriers (Carbondale, IL) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, August 30. Sikeston will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Terriers go into the outing with a 1-0 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Freeburg (Freeburg, IL).
