The Mountaineers (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Pikeville (Pikeville, KY). The Panthers enter the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Pikeville notched a victory over Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY), 9-1, in a league match.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Harlan County for a District 50 match on Tuesday, September 2. Middlesboro will meet a Black Bears team coming off a 8-0 league win over Knox Central (Barbourville, KY). The Black Bears record now stands at 2-1.
