In Friday's non-league challenge, the Wyomissing Spartans (Wyomissing, PA) soccer squad overwhelmed the visiting Pottsgrove Falcons (Pottsgrove, PA), by a margin of 5-0.

The Spartans now hold a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oley Valley for a Berks County 3 contest on Tuesday, September 2. Wyomissing will battle a Lynx team coming off a 6-3 non-league win over High Point Baptist Academy (Geigertown, PA). The Lynx record now stands at 3-0.

The Falcons (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Kutztown (Kutztown, PA). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Kutztown held off Annville-Cleona (Annville, PA), 5-0, in a non-league contest.
